The 4Cs of Diamonds
Cut and Shape
The diamond cut is the most important of all the 4Cs. Diamond cut refers to the balance of proportion, symmetry and polish of the diamond. These three factors determine the brilliance and brightness of the diamond, fire which is the dispersion of the light and scintillation which refers to the brilliance of the diamond.
